We Have Fun

We Have Fun returns! After our super stylish, summer spectacular in Brick Lane We Have Fun is back on Friday the 6th November, at the new regular venue of the uber-cool Hub. Once again we'll be bringing you all the latest rave sounds in every style you'll want to hear from a gaggle of awesome DJs all without ever forgetting it's all about having a good party and not taking things too seriously.

For the inaugural night at Hub we've stopped at nothing to get the best lineup yet. Headlining are Peo De Pitte and the AGT Rave Cru. Peo De Pitte has been making huge waves across the Electro and Breaks scenes, with the Swedish maestro's productions getting support from huge names like Sinden, Fake Blood and the Plump DJs. We think he's an even better DJ and his cross-genre vibes will be perfect for We Have Fun.

The AGT Rave Cru are a DJ pair who mashup pretty much anything they can get their hands on creating a pounding, stomping rave beast that's as fun as it is twisted! These guys will get you going crazy to everything from '89 house and techno through to the latest dubstep and fidget!

Supporting our headline heroes is our final guest for the night, playing her first We Have Fun - queen of underground sound Mini Da Minx, erstwhile leader of the Chix in da Mix and promoter of many a quality party! She'll be treating us to a very special set of her best breaks, electro and funk sounds.

As always the We Have Fun residents are on hand to push the party up to 11. This month we have James Furness who's on a roll with recent stand out sets at Space in Ibiza and at Glue back home in London. And last but not least is Hell Yeah who'll be dropping his usual devilish brand of twisted bangers.

Saturday September 5, 2009 @ Horse & Groom (Shoreditch)

After the huge success of the launch night Glue returns to the Horse & Groom on Saturday 5th September, once again bringing the ultimate party vibe to the intimate surroundings of Shoreditch's best venue. Glue's mix of stellar guest DJs and the ever amazing residents will play the usual mix of electro, breaks, house and all breeds of rave and are guaranteed to give you a top night out.

This month leading the world class DJ set are the Pirate Soundsystem, a London based pair of dance buccaneers who play a sound that mixes all of the capital's hippest bass sound - think of rave, fidget, breakbeat, dubstep and grime all rolled into one. Hot on their heels is Mr No Hands, known both for his genre busting style and his own cartoon videos that grace all his production efforts. Glue's ever up for it crowd can be sure of an animated performance from him!

Along with the Pirate boys and the No Handed one are Apply the Breaks, the breakspoll winning, Luton based Breakbeat collective, famous as both for their Monday Club night and their twisted 4 deck mashups. And as our final guest is James Furness, just returned from Ibiza where he played his first set at Space, who'll be bringing back with him his party tunes and hopefully some Ibizan sun to dreary London!

As always the Glue's residents, Hell Yeah, Bump and Mittens will be rounding out the lineup with there unique charms and special tunes!

We Have Fun

We Have Fun strides into the Summer months with another startling lineup. Headlining upstairs are Breakbeat scene leaders Koma & Bones and Shoreditch Electro mashup kings The Gash DJs. Whilst downstairs electronic robot gods The 9000 lead the charge.

As always supporting are the usual mix of We Have Fun residents and regular guests which this month include an electrifying versus set from Fatman88 and HellYeah, with the pair henceforth known as FKYH. And after the carnage caused last month by one half of the Pogo DJs, the other half, James Furness, brings his own brand of mayhem to the night.
